Chris (he/him) is a musician, event-planner, and marketing aficionado with over a decade of experience in throwing events and managing music bookings for venues. He is known by his stage name DJ Pyrite and has always been passionate about mental health, neuroscience, and natural remedies. Chris spends his days at the shop reading scientific studies and new legislation regarding the cannabis industry, and his free time keeping up with the latest in streetwear and holding full conversations with his talkative husky, Marley (named after Bob, not the sad movie).

Sarah (she/her) is a self-taught freelance graphic designer and photographer who offers a full range of creative services for small businesses through her company, Gray Matters. Her diligent attention to detail keeps all the wheels turning at Bear Dance on a daily basis. Sarah uses her creative skills to help make navigating the hemp industry and its products easier for customers. When she's not at the shop or doing creative work, she enjoys playing the piano, gardening, caring for her houseplants, keeping up with motorsports, and looking for more cats to befriend.

Taco is the beloved shop cat of Bear Dance Hemp Company. He was found near death by the dumpster, and we immediately took him in and provided him with the care he needed to recover. During his stay with us, we discovered that Taco is not cut out for life as an outdoor cat. He is much happier and healthier indoors, where he has become a cherished member of our team. Taco may be shy at first, but he has a social, friendly, and curious personality that will eventually draw him out of his hiding spot to greet you with affectionate face smooshes. We're grateful to have him as part of our family and know that our customers love him too.
